This hilarious, lively comedy was Neil Simon's first hit and established him as a ajor force in the New York theatre.
Alan and Buddy are two brothers as different as night and day. One is a 33-year-old playboy, the other an obedient 21-year-old, with a desire to assert himself. When Buddy suddenly moves into Alan's apartment, leaving only a rebellions letter for his parents, a whole string of comic complications ensue.

Encore Entertainment is a not-for-profit theatre company. All our performers, staff and crew are volunteers who donate their time and talents so we may provide the best in high-quality entertainment for the whole family at an affordable price.

In the past four years, we have produced Love and Other Stresses, The Diary of Anne Frank, Enter Laughing, Guys & Dolls, Anne of Green Gables, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Fantasticks and Beau Jest (which was so popular we opened the 2000-2001 season with its sequel, Jest A Second. Also produced in 2001 was Nunsense and Rumors. In 2002, we presented On Golden Pond, Les Belles Soeurs and The Prisoner of Second Avenue.
