Jest A SecondDirected by Merle GarbeOctober 19 - 29, 2000
If you enjoyed Beau Jest, come for another visit with the Goldman family. This story takes place a year after Beau Jest leaves off. The occasion is Miriam's birthday, but it's the audience that gets the biggest surprises! Humour and heart blend easily together in this family comedy. The Goldman family is Jewish, but their story is universal. Parents of every religious and cultural background want the best for their children. And children of every background want their parents’ approval. This play is a must-see for anyone who has ever been a parent … or had one! If you saw Beau Jest, you'll feel like you're catching up with old friends. If you missed Beau Jest, it won't take you long to get to know the Goldmans. With believable characters and a timely story, Jest A Second is unpretentious, funny, and touching.
